Snorkeling with Dolphins

On the 22nd of July we were so lucky to snorkel with 20-40 dolphins on the way to Silky Cay.

May 7th 2007 - Goliath Grouper

After so many whale sharks I thought I would see what the reefs were like. We saw this enormous goliath grouper on the 1st dive, just off Laughing Bird island.

May 6th 2007 - Adult whale shark

This one was around 30ft, it loomed out the blue heading straight for me. I took the photo then dumped all the air in my BCD to drop out of its way. It passed over me like a space ship from a star wars movie!

May 2nd - Juvenile whale shark eating bubbles

Same juvenile, around 18ft. It kept coming round, opening its mouth to take in the bubbles. Must have made a huge belch later!

Went Fishing

We had a great time fishing. We caught our lunch and a local island chef cooked it up on the beach. It was so good with a tall cold Belikin.

Monkey River

We took the Monkey River Tour into the rainforest with our middle-school aged children. They learned first hand from our very knowledgable guide all about the wonders of the rainforest.
